I moved to Corpus Christi from out of state and I already had a place lined up. It looked nice from the pictures, but when I arrived the house was a complete disaster. I wound up having to spend 5 nights in a hotel with a Uhaul truck full of my belongings packed in the parking lot, and I was stuck looking for a place to live over the holiday weekend. I randomly reached out to a contact listed for a rental property who then connected me with Eric Vela. Eric was super understanding of my situation, and he immediately started searching to help me find a new place (he literally called me back on Christmas day!). He went out of his way to show me properties on short notice, delivered paperwork to me at the hotel I was staying at, and spoke directly to potential leasing companies on my behalf. He was amazing to deal with and such a sweet person, I don’t know what I would have done without him as I do not know this area at all and I was already exhausted from the move and it takes a lot of time and energy to plan showings and try find out about application processes, etc. If you are looking to buy or rent a new property I would highly recommend him! Marta made everything about selling our home easy. We had already moved out when the house went on the market and we had moved 4 hours away, so everything fell to Marta to handle on our behalf. She didn’t hesitate to do whatever needed to be done. She even checked the mailbox for us throughout the process! Prior to listing the house, Marta advised us on upgrades we should (or should not) make in order for the house to sell more quickly. Her advice worked–we had multiple offers the first day the house was on the market! I highly recommend Marta Castaneda. She’s smart, responsive and she knows the real estate business!

It was my first time looking for a place on my own. I was done with apartments I wanted a TownHome or a house and had a specific budget. Eric Vela was the first realtor I got in touch with that was responsive and gave me the attention I was lacking from other realtors. He was very professional and I could tell that he really wanted to help! He showed me two townhomes in a specific area and when I told him I was more interested in another one that was not his listing he assisted me in viewing it. Within the nxt hour I had my application in and by the next day I was approved and ready to go even with the challenge of my credit history. I visited Corpus Christi last year and really liked it.. I live out of state and was looking for a coastsl community to move to. I begain researching Corpus on line, through YouTube and the C.C. city website. I decided it was the place for me and eventually got hooked up with Realtor Diane Gardener. She has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her. I have purchased about 10 homes over the years and have dealt with many realtors. I realize realtors are busy people, but when they don't have time to answer questions, then you need to find one who does. I have never found one to go as out of the way, above and beyond, as Diane. I've had lots of questions and if she doesn't have an immediate answer, she will find it and get back to me. I really appreciate her. I have now found a house and escrow will close in just a few weeks. Since I am moving from out of state there are several things Diane has offered to do for me, untill I can make my move out there. I just want to publicly say thank you to Diane and let everyone know how good of a realtor she is and how well she has taken care of me. I've purchased a beautiful 2 year old home in a high growth area of Corpus Christi and am very happy.
