About Tamara

I didn't start in real estate. I started on stage, performing in theater, and then in a classroom, teaching elementary and middle school students everything from core subjects to art. It's an unusual resume for a Realtor — until you spend ten minutes with me and realize both jobs were really the same job: take something unfamiliar or intimidating, and make it make sense to the person in front of you, without talking down to them.

That's the skill I carried into real estate, and it shows up in specific ways. If a listing needs a tree trimmed, a house cleaned out, rooms painted, or a pre-inspection lined up before it hits the market, I connect clients with people I trust to handle it right — because a smooth sale is rarely just about the paperwork.

It also shows up in how I work with clients relocating to Corpus Christi. I've moved 23 times in 45 years — across cities, across states, enough times that I've stopped counting them as remarkable. I know what it's like to commit to a house in a place you've never lived, based on photos and a handful of video calls, trusting a stranger to tell you the truth about the neighborhood. That's not theoretical empathy for me. It's why out-of-state buyers tend to relax once they start working with me.
